The Year-Group 96 Bruins were proud to host the Inagural Bruins Brawl Baseball Tournament at Freedom High School in Woodbridge, Virginia. It was our goal and our commitment to make this one of the best-run tournaments you'll find anywhere all season long, and based on our feedback, we're proud to say that we put on a class-A event.

Tournament Basics

Event Dates: 20-22 March 2009

Event Location: Freedom High School, Woodgridge, Virginia.

Event Format: Three-game guarantee. Pool play with single elimination tournament.

Available Divisions: 12U Open Division and 13U Open Division. Maximum of seven teams in 12U and six teams in 13U.

Skills Competition: Both Divisions will award prizes for individuals and teams competing in King of Swat, Golden Arm, Road Runner, and Around the Horn.

Event Awards: First and Second place teams will each receive a large team trophy and 15 individual medals. Winners of skills events will also receive trophies.
