Coach McInerney began coaching youth baseball in DTQ Little League in 2001. Then, building on the groundwork laid by others before him, Ray assembled a group of young players in the Spring of 2005 to continue in the Virginia Bruins Baseball Club's tradition of success. A core of players from the original Bruins team has carried over from year-to-year, and the team has continued to attract stronger players each and every season since its inception. Though the Bruins are Coach McInerney's passion, he also enjoys being the Assistant Coach for the Saunders Middle School baseball team.

Coach Barbery joined the Bruins in the Summer of 2008, and he brings over 10 years of youth level coaching experience. He has managed baseball teams at the AAU/USSSA and local League levels, and he is a board member for Coles Little League where he has organized baseball camps for kids and instructional clinics for coaches. Mike enjoys teaching young players the proper mechanics of baseball while also developing their confidence to compete and have fun as they advance through the various levels of play.

Coach Booth began coaching youth baseball in 1995 in Fauquier County, along with serving on the Board as a Commissioner. In 2005 he started the 10U Young Guns team, coaching them for 2.5 great years. Coach Booth's philosophy is to teach good sportsmanship, basic fundamentals, proper technique, and the mechanics of the game. He focuses on teaching teamwork and leadership skills to help kids understand what it takes to play on a competitive level and have fun doing so.

Coach Bridis has been involved in youth baseball since 2001, and has worked on teams with Coach McInerney since 2005. He was infielders coach for the Virginia Bruins during the 2007 season, and again worked with infielders and baserunners during spring 2008. Ted is a board member for the DTQ Little League and was coordinator for the 13 & 14-year-old teams in 2008. Off the field, Ted runs the national investigative reporting team for The Associated Press news service in Washington.
